Development of stamping and overmoulding process for complex parts
Composite is a lightening vector for automotive and aeronautical parts, but manufacturing processes must be able to produce at the rates required by the sectors of activity, which is not the case today. To produce large volumes and meet high production rates, Netshape and Oneshot thermo-embossing processes seem to be promising technologies in the short and medium term.
The purpose of the project is to develop and evaluate the stamping and overmoulding industrial performances for an application to a representative part, with oneshot and netshape process, to obtain a rate of 60 parts per hour.
