Our network of stakeholders in collaborative innovation within the manufacturing sector

IRT Jules Verne, the institute that brings together industry and academia to focus on manufacturing technologies

IRT Jules Verne brings together industrial and academic stakeholders to address the practical needs of France’s major industrial sectors.

To foster innovations that are useful and can be rapidly transferred to factories, the IRT Jules Verne works in partnership with France’s leading industrial players in the strategic sectors of aerospace, shipbuilding, energy, defence, rail and construction.

The institute also develops strong partnerships with all other players in the manufacturing chain, in particular medium-sized enterprises and SMEs (robotics and digital integrators, raw material suppliers, manufacturers of tools and production equipment), leading universities and technical centres at the forefront of innovation, with whom it collaboratively designs and implements the R&D projects it undertakes.

In total, since its creation, IRT Jules Verne has supported more than 100 clients and works alongside around 50 members and partners with whom it jointly develops and implements a long-term collaborative industrial innovation strategy.
