Our teams are at SAMPE Europe 2026 in Lecce!
From September 30 to October 1, IRT Jules Verne is taking part in SAMPE Europe 2026, the European event dedicated to advanced materials and manufacturing processes.
On this occasion, Ibrahim ABDULLAH will present the work carried out as part of the CONNECT project on the real-time monitoring of the injection overmolding of thermoplastic composite structures, using an artificial intelligence-based approach.
The objective
Leverage process data to automatically identify the different phases of the overmolding cycle, accurately calculate key indicators, and detect anomalies in real time. This is an essential step toward eventually predicting part quality in real time.

This work is being carried out with Airbus, Daher, Latecoere, Liebherr Aerospace and Transportation, Cero, and LTEN at Nantes Université.
