WAAM: Process expertise mastered at IRT Jules Verne

Led by Grégoire Bazin, our research team specialising in metal materials processes comprises around fifteen qualified engineers, technicians and PhD students. It supports French manufacturers in defining and improving wire-based additive manufacturing processes, taking their specific challenges into account, with the aim of identifying a well-founded technological solution tailored to their needs.

IRT Jules Verne, a key player in innovation in WAAM, part of its ecosystem

The IRT Jules Verne is part of the FIT – French Institutes of Technology Matériaux alliance, alongside the IRT M2P and IRT AESE – Saint Exupéry, whose areas of expertise complement one another, and is also a member of the French professional network France Additive, which brings together stakeholders in the sector.
